SMS consent

Who this page is for
OkPilot is field operations software, operated by Telyport Technologies Private Limited. Businesses use it to run deliveries, service visits, inspections, collections and field sales, and OkPilot sends the text messages that keep their customer informed about the job — that it is on the way, that it is arriving, that it is done, and a link to follow it live.
Those messages go to our customers' customers. So consent is collected by the business at the moment it takes the booking, not by OkPilot. This page is the language we require them to use, published so anyone — a customer, a mobile carrier, a regulator — can read exactly what people agree to.
The consent language
Every business sending through OkPilot must present this next to an unticked checkbox, on the same screen where the customer gives their mobile number:
☐ Text me about this order
I agree to receive text messages from [Business name] about this order, sent via OkPilot. Message frequency varies by order. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. See the Privacy Policy.
The business fills in its own name. Nothing else about the wording changes, because this is the text recorded against the customer as evidence of what they agreed to.
Rules we require
- The checkbox starts unticked. A pre-ticked box is not consent, and we do not accept it.
- Consent is never a condition of anything else. A customer who declines still gets their delivery, their service visit, their inspection. Text messages are a convenience, not a gate on the purchase.
- It sits with the phone number. The consent must be on the same screen where the number is entered, not buried in terms accepted elsewhere.
- One order, one scope. Consent covers messages about the job being booked. It is not permission to market later.
What gets sent
Only messages tied to an active job:
- Confirmation that the job is scheduled
- Status updates — on the way, arriving, completed
- A secure live-tracking link for the job in progress
- A one-time code, where the job needs one to confirm a handover
No marketing. No promotions. No upsells. If a business wants to send those, it needs its own separate consent and its own separate messaging programme — not this one.
Stopping the messages
Reply STOP to any message and the messages stop immediately. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@okpilot.ai.
Opting out stops the texts. It does not cancel the delivery or the service visit — for that, contact the business you booked with.
What we record
When a business tells us a customer consented, we store the exact text that was shown, the moment it was given, and where it came from. That record travels with the order, and the business can see it in the OkPilot console. It exists so that if anyone ever asks whether a particular person agreed to be texted, there is a real answer rather than an assumption.
Mobile numbers and consent records are never sold, and never shared with third parties for marketing. The full detail is in the SMS and Text Messaging section of our Privacy Policy.
