Your refills do not arrive evenly.
Insurance fill dates bunch them into the first days of the month.
OkPilot pharmacy delivery software handles refill cycle surges, captures signature on every prescription handoff, and automatically reschedules failed delivery attempts. It is built for pharmacies that run their own delivery with their own drivers.
A prescription cannot be left at the door.
When the patient is not home, the driver comes back with the medication. The patient goes without it tonight. Tomorrow, someone drives the same route again. That second trip costs what the first one cost, and you were paid for neither. Put your own numbers in and see what it adds up to.

What happens when you type "Which Rx deliveries are still out?"
You type
"Which Rx deliveries are still out? And which ones need signature?"
OkPilot responds
Three Rx deliveries still out. Maria has two stops left on her route, both in the Sunset district, both require signature. She will finish by 4:30 PM. The third is a controlled substance for Mrs. Rodriguez at 742 Elm. That one needs driver ID check and patient signature. Carlos picked it up 20 minutes ago and is en route.

Mrs. Rodriguez was not home at 742 Elm. This is a daily medication. Reschedule for 6 PM tonight (she is usually home by then based on last 3 deliveries) or first thing tomorrow?
Tomorrow is February 1st. Based on last month's pattern, expect 3x normal volume. Two additional drivers recommended. Pre-batch routes now?
It catches pharmacy problems before you do
A failed delivery for a daily medication is not the same as a failed delivery for a birthday gift. OkPilot knows the difference. It reschedules the attempt for when the patient is likely home based on their history, and it warns you the day before a refill surge so you can staff up.
You approve every action. It never contacts a patient or reassigns a driver without your nod.
Your driver sees "get signature" not "complete stop"
The app speaks pharmacy. It shows the patient name, the Rx number, and exactly what proof is needed at the door. For controlled substances, it requires ID verification and patient signature before the driver can mark it delivered. For regular prescriptions, a photo at the door is enough.
Every handoff captures signature, GPS location, and timestamp. The record is kept for retrieval. OkPilot is not a compliance product and does not certify to any board or regulator. It captures the data your operation needs.
Tell it you are a pharmacy
"We deliver prescriptions from two locations. Controlled substances need patient signature and ID check. Regular Rx needs a photo at the door. Patients get a tracking link with their name on it. If nobody is home, reschedule automatically."
That is the setup. OkPilot creates the delivery types, the proof requirements per type, the patient notifications, and the failed-attempt logic. 48 hours to live.

Pharmacy delivery questions
Yes. You define which delivery types need signature, photo, or both. The driver cannot complete the stop without capturing what you require.
When a patient is not home, OkPilot reschedules automatically for the same evening or next morning and notifies the pharmacy. The failed attempt is logged with GPS and timestamp.
OkPilot sees the refill cycle pattern. It front-loads driver capacity on surge days and batches nearby prescriptions into efficient routes so your team handles 3x volume without 3x chaos.
OkPilot also handles florist, grocery, restaurant, and courier delivery. See all delivery features.
