We may receive information about you from third-party sources, including advertising platforms (such as Google and Meta) that provide aggregated data about ad interactions, and publicly available business information.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Provide and improve our Services: To operate, maintain, and improve our website and field operations software.
- Respond to inquiries and demo requests: To communicate with you about your questions, demo bookings, and service requests.
- Send service communications: To send you important updates about your account, changes to our Services, and other transactional messages.
- Analytics and performance monitoring: To understand how visitors use our website so we can improve the user experience, content, and functionality.
- Marketing and advertising: With your consent where required by law, to send you promotional communications and to show you relevant advertisements on third-party platforms.
- Comply with legal obligations: To meet our legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
4. SMS and Text Messaging
This section describes how mobile phone numbers and SMS consent are handled across the OkPilot platform. It applies to the A2P 10DLC messaging programs registered with US mobile carriers under Telyport Technologies Private Limited.
Who receives messages
OkPilot is field operations software used by businesses to run deliveries, service visits, inspections, collections, and field sales. Two groups may receive SMS from us:
- Recipients of a service. The customer or contact for whom one of our client businesses is performing a job — for example, the person expecting a delivery or a service visit.
- Field workers. Drivers, technicians, and other staff who use the OkPilot field app and receive one-time verification codes to sign in or to confirm a job.
How consent is obtained
End users provide their mobile phone number to one of our client businesses when they request, book, or are scheduled for a service. At that point the client business informs them that their number may be used to send transactional SMS about that service, and consent is captured in the client business's own booking form, application, or point of sale. Where a separate SMS consent is required, the user actively selects an unchecked consent checkbox before submitting.
We do not purchase, rent, or otherwise acquire phone numbers for messaging, and we do not send messages to anyone who has not requested or been scheduled for a service.
The exact wording a business must show, and the rules we require around it, are published at okpilot.ai/sms-consent.
What we send
All messages sent through these programs are transactional and tied to an active job:
- One-time verification codes used to confirm identity, to confirm that a service professional is authorized to begin a job, or to confirm a pickup or handover
- Job status updates, such as when a job is on the way, arriving, or completed
- A secure live-tracking link for the job in progress
We do not send marketing or promotional text messages through these programs.
Frequency, rates, and opting out
Message frequency varies and depends on the service requested — typically a small number of messages per job. Message and data rates may apply. You may reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time, and HELP for assistance. Opting out stops further messages from that number. It does not cancel the underlying service, which you should cancel with the business you booked it with.
How mobile information is shared
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of information described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Phone numbers and SMS consent are used only to deliver the messages described above. We share them only with the messaging providers that carry the message on our behalf, and with the client business that requested the job, and only for that purpose. They are never sold, and they are never used to build advertising audiences.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We use cookies and similar technologies for the purposes described below.
